Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. 1 Cor. 9:24-27 NKJV
RE-EVALUATE:Take stock of this year and ask yourself, “How have I run my race in 2015?” Do a self evaluation. There is no greater evaluation than a self evaluation. Remember the goal is not just to run but to run in such a way as to win. Have you run as to win in 2015? Have you run with purpose, discipline, with single-mindedness? Or have you been shadowboxing?
RE-ARRANGE: Resolve to run this race with the mindset of a winner, to run this race with purpose and discipline. Rearrange things in your live to help you achieve these. Remember the end result is to win. Some attitudes will need to be dropped and others picked up. It is time for discipline, time to study the word and walk closer to God. It is time to pray. It is time to unclutter your life and your mindset. BE PURPOSE DRIVEN!!!
RE-NEW:Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Hebrews 12: 12-13. Have a winning mentality. Not a losing mentality. This will become evident in the way you think and what you say with your mouth. As a man thinks, so is he. The power of positive confession will be your watchword. These are what will shape your attitude.
Are you ready for 2016? It’s the year of lifting, harvest, victory, glory and overflowing grace!!!! Because we serve a God who authors and finishes, who begins and ends, we too shall end and finish this year 2015 stronger than we were when we began. 2016 HERE WE COME!!!!
